Beemo — Privacy Policy
Last updated: 30 June 2026
Beemo is a Chrome extension that lets you send tabs, tab groups, and text to friends, Chrome to Chrome. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices.
What we collect
- Account: when you sign in with Google, we store your name, email, and profile photo to identify you to friends.
- Friends: the list of people you connect with, and pending invites.
- Items you send/receive: tabs, tab groups, and text you choose to send. If you explicitly tick "include what I typed on this page", the non-password form values you choose travel with that item. We never collect password or hidden fields.
How we use it
Solely to provide the service: delivering what you send to the friends you pick, showing your inbox, and managing friends and invites. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.
Where it's stored
Data is stored in Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore) and protected by security rules so only you and the friends you send to can access the relevant data. Inbox items automatically expire after about 30 days.
Sharing
Items are shared only with the specific friend you send them to. We use Google (authentication) as a processor. We don't share your data with anyone else.
Your choices & rights
You can sign out at any time and remove items from your inbox from the Settings screen. To request deletion of your account and associated data, contact us at the email below and we'll remove it.
